Flying FOOLZ Meeting Minutes
June 9, 2014 at Beef O'Brady's
Attendees: Jim and Pat Connell, Bill and Karen Sharpe, Barb and Steve Flynn, Dan Reynolds, Karen (Peaches) Jones, Steve Bensinger and Sue Vartanian.
Meeting called to order 7:50pm.
Treasurer Report – There has been no change to the FOOLZ Bank account which has $3078.23. However, Peaches joined the club for the remaining 6 months of the year today.
Steve noted that we have been flying to local restaurants for breakfast, and plan to do more during June and July. (The next FOOLZ Fly-In is at the end of September.) Pat Connell had copies of the menu from a new restaurant at the Ocala airport called Thyme Fly's Bistro.
The Connells discussed C3 vs C7 club status (regarding limits on donations). They also announced that they will be involved in Sun N Fun activities (which starts just 4 weeks after their Wahoo Fly-In).
Although Steve “reserved” several Monday nights at Beef O’Brady’s, the Boosters want their meeting nights back starting in the fall. Therefore, we opted to move the FOOLZ meetings to the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
