Flying FOOLZ Meeting Minutes
July 8, 2014 at Coyote Rojo
Attendees: Jim and Pat Connell, Barb and Steve Flynn, Karen (Peaches) Jones, Steve Bensinger and Sue Vartanian, new members Deb Beach and Curt Morehouse. (Deb and Curt bought Lot 2 at Flying W.)
Meeting called to order 8:00pm.
Treasurer Report – The FOOLZ Club net worth is $3100.34 and donated headsets.
Young Eagles – Discussed whether the club should continue to give support to the young men (Zach and Noah) who won the scholarships last year. Steve B will check on Zach, and Jim C will check on Noah.
Discussed writing up a procedure to help another club with their Young Eagles.
Deb noted that the 99's used to send children to Space Camp in Alabama.
Decided to wait for the Young Eagles committee (including Dan Reynolds, Joanne Springer, and Karen Jones) to come up with a recommendation.
Wahoo Fly-In (next March) – Pat C says that since she and Jim will be busy with the FSAACA house next Sun N Fun, she is considering serving only a brunch on Saturday. The club is willing to help with the Fly-in whatever the plan is.
